Bucataria mea a fost invadata de rosii zilele trecute. Grasune si coapte, nu am mai putut sa le tin in conditii optime, asa ca le-am mancat 🙂 . Unele crude, cum sunt mai bune, iar pe cele mai moi le-am transformat intr-o delicioasa supa crema cu niste cartofi noi copti in cuptor. Yuuummmy.


INGREDIENTE


– 1 kilogram rosii coapte;
– cam 7-8 catei de usturoi;
– 2 cepe rosii sau 3 cepe verzi;
– 2 linguri ulei masline;
– sos iute, gen worcestershire sau piri piri;
– otet balsamic;
– sare, piper si cimbru;
– smantana lichida;


MOD DE PREPARARE


Rosiile se spala bine, si se curata de partea verde de la codita. Se pun intr-o tava impreuna cu cepele, usturoiul, cimbrul, sarea si piperul. Se stropesc cu uleiul de masline si se amesteca bine. Se dau la cuptor pentru 45 de minute. Cand sunt gata se scot si se pun in blender. Se mai adauga putin sos iute, dupa preferinte, si putin otet balsamic. Se amesteca o tura. Se opreste si se adauga putina smantana lichida, si se mai amesteca o tura. Se pune in castron si se mai toarna putina smantana.
Langa am pregatit niste cartofi aurii, copti la cuptor. Super simplu de facut, curatati, taiati in 4, stropiti cu ulei de masline, sare si piper. Cand sunt rumeniti pe toate partile sunt gata. Mi se pare ca se potrivesc cu aciditatea cremei de rosii, si sunt o alternativa buna la crutoane.
Ideala pentru serile de vara, usor de facut si hranitoare, inspirata din produsele de sezon, supa crema de rosii este noua mea obsesie culinara. Dupa untul de arahide, of course :)) Dar lasand gluma la o parte try it, si nu o sa va para rau.

My kitchen was invaded by tomatoes these last days. Chunky and ripe, I could not keep them all in optimal conditions, so I ate them 🙂 . Some fresh, they are better that way, and some I’ve turn into a delicious cream soup with some golden baked potatoes. Yuuummmy.


INGREDIENTS


– 1 kg of red tomatoes;
– about 7-8 cloves of garlic;
– 2 red onions or 3 green onions;
– 2 tablespoons olive oil;
– hot sauce, like worcestershire or piri piri;
– balsamic vinegar;
– salt, pepper and thyme;
– cooking cream;


METHOD OF PREPARATION


Wash well the tomatoes and cut the green middle part. Put them in a tray with the onions, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper. Sprinkle with olive oil and mix thoroughly. Bake them for 45 minutes. When ready, take them out and put them in a blender. Add a little hot sauce and a little balsamic vinegar. Mix shortly. Stop and add a little bit of cooking cream, and stir again. Put in the bowl and pour some more sour cream.
Next I prepared some golden potatoes, baked in the oven. Super easy to do, clean, cut in 4, sprinkle with olive oil, salt and pepper. When browned on all sides they are ready. It seems to me that they match the acidity of the tomato cream soup, and they are a good alternative to croutons.
Ideal for summer dinners, easy to do and nourishing, inspired by seasonal products, tomato cream soup is my new culinary obsession. After peanut butter, of course :)) But leaving the joke to aside try it, and you will not be sorry.
