Zucchini fries


M-a luat si pe mine frenezia cu zucchini fries de pe internet. E genul ala de mancare pe care te intrebi de ce nu l-ai facut pana acum. E simplu, gustos si o idee(well mai mult decat o idee) mai sanatos decat alte snack-uri. Mai jos clipul si modul de preparare complet.


– 1 zucchini sau 2, depinde cati oameni vor manca 🙂 ;

– 1 ou;

– 3 linguri pesmet;

– 1/2 lingura usturoi praf;

– mult parmesan;

– 1/2 lingura cimbru;

– sare si piper dupa gust;

– 1/2 lingura paprika afumata.


Dupa cum am spus mai simplu de atat nu se poate. Se iau cati zucchini vreti, mie mi-a ajuns unul, dar daca sunt mai multe persoane in jurul mesei 2 – 3 merg perfect. Se spala bine si se portioneaza in jumatate. Jumatatiile se taie pe lung in doua. Se taie apoi in bucatii lungi, asemanatoare cu cartofii pentru prajit. Arata ca niste sticks-uri de legume.

Intr-un bol am batut un ou si l-am asezonat cu sare si piper. In alt bol am pregatit un amestec de pesmet cu parmesan ras, pudra de usturoi, praf de paprika afumata si putin piper si sare. Se dau bucatile de zucchini prima data prin ou, apoi in amestecul de pesmet. Se acopera bine pe toate partile si se aseaza intr-o tava acoperita cu hartie de copt.

Se dau la cuptor pana sunt aurii si exteriorul este crocant. Langa am pregatit un sos simplu cu smantana si castraveti murati. A fost o gustarica minunata, care a disparut in timp record.


I was caught into the frenzy with zucchini fries recipes I found online. This is the kind of food that I was wondering why haven’t I done it before. It’s simple, tasty and an idea (well more than an idea) healthier than other snacks. Below the clip and the full cooking mode.


– 1 zucchini or 2, depends on how many people will eat 🙂;

– 1 egg;

– 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs;

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder;

– a lot of parmesan;

– 1/2 teaspoon thyme;

– salt and pepper to taste;

– 1/2 teaspoon of african paprika.


As I said before it’s soo easy to make. First get the zucchini, as many pieces as you want, I got one, but if the food is for more than one human, get 2 or 3 pieces. Wash well and portion in half. Cut each half in two pieces. Then slice those quarters into long pieces, similar to fries. They look like vegetable sticks.

In one bowl beat an egg and season it with salt and pepper. In another bowl prepare a mixture of breadcrumbs with lots of parmesan, garlic powder, smoked pepper powder and a little pepper and salt. Add the zucchini sticks first in the eggwash then in the bread crumb mixture. Cover well on all sides and place in a tray covered with baking paper.

Then bake until they are golden and the crispy on the outside. I also prepared a simple sauce with sour cream and pickled cucumbers. It was a wonderful snack that disappeared in a very short time.
